Napoleon Donuts

Who can ever forget the commercial line “Donut Bay” shouted by donut vendor where viewers misconstrue for “Do nut buy” specially when some of us are not familiar with Cebuano word “Bay”.

This they say is equivalent to friend, or simply buddy.

Napoleon Donuts you will surely buy when you get to taste one. First time I had enjoyed their soft and yummy donut was in Medical City (yes in a hospital) food court. I just saw that they have a Napoleons Café in Silver City strip in Frontera Verde (a place more popularly known for having Tiendisitas and Fun Ranch in the same compound).

The reason I like their donuts is because of its non overpowering sweetness. I don’t have a (very) sweet tooth that’s why this is a match for me, and one of my life joys… coffee. Some pastries tend to make black coffee bland or simply tasteless after eating something sweet , either a pastry or a bread. But Napoleon’s donuts complement coffee in any other way you like them, whether black or sweetened. At Php 23 per piece, this goes well with their serving of Lavazza coffees or juices. Also available are sandwiches for heavier fill thru the day.
