We celebrated Mother’s Day in Ye Dang Korean BBQ Restaurant in Meralco Avenue. It was a jam-packed night and waiting by the entrance with a long queue of patrons, including showbiz personalities patiently waiting to get a table, has really got me intrigued.
When we finally got a table, the parade of appetizers already made me full I forgot we ordered for beef, chicken, and pork for grilling. The appetizers were bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, kimchi, tofu, spicy dilis, baby potatoes.
I haven’t taken much notice on the price as my attention was taken by the various appetizers in front. Along with amazement that a lot of people are still coming in and waiting at close to 8PM on a sunday night. I eventually learned that it’s a usual scene in Meralco Avenue (along Metrowalk area) as Ye Dang is popular for its food and the uniqueness that the place offers from a lot of competing restos in Ortigas center.

In the past when shabu-shabu’s novelty has hooked me (even up to now), this Korean resto has definitely taken a place in my list of personal preferences that is worth coming back any day of the week.
