What is Chinatown without dumplings? It is like an ocean without fishes, a Coke without ice, or a cell phone without a signal.
In Binondo, there is a place called Dong Bei (along Yuchengo St. at the back of Binondo Church) where you get to enjoy dumplings specially their kuchay (chives) dumplings. The wrapper is freshly prepared everyday right in the entrance of this small food haven. Even my Mom enjoyed the kuchay dumplings and our cook, Ate Myra too- who at time becomes a food critic as she herself knows her way around the kitchen.
