For someone who has loved X-MEN in cartoons as a kid, this more human, errr, mutant character has left me in awe. I remember giving up friday nights gimmick just to sit and watch X-MEN. There is no better way to start a story about the X-MEN saga than X-MEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE. He is my favorite character in this team. His hard brutal strength stands on a soft caring heart.
Hugh Jackman, the sexiest man alive, has brough life to a much respected character from the comic pages, which he has given justice. Being the silver screen version of such a comic icon, I may guess, is not easy. Hugh was able to deliver not just the physical requirements of being a Wolverine but also the underlying emotion, the character, the animal, the human Logan. And what differentiates an actor to a superstar is not bringing the light upon himself but to the character. Hugh has just brought light and life to Wolverine… and Wolverine has made Hugh an even bigger star.
This movie has given viewers a peak into the other chracters such as Sabretooth, Gambit, Blob, Wraith, Stryker, Agent Zero, Kayla, Cyclops, Professor X.
In this movie, I could say that there are so many lines that made me smile. The humor added with so much action has created a movie that rushes not just bloody suspense but also certain humanity in a story about mutants.
