Since 1988 Melo’s has introduced steaks that are 100% Certified Angus Beef (CAB) to the Philippines. A CAB is a proof of higher quality of beef by the American Angus Association that has passed the criteria set by the USDA.

Now Melo’s is also home to what is considered the best around the world, Wagyu, and has been mixed with the finest ingredients and favorite Italian pasta and sauces.

I believe that choosing the ingredients and considering the needs of the person who will consume the food  are as important as the techniques of cooking. The Italian Trio experience has allowed me to not just get a taste of the best ingredients but also be reminded of the most important people in my life.

Tender Bob’s: Meat n’ Meet

 Whenever I am in Shangri la Mall, I am tempted to eat in Tender Bob’s. The reason I don’t is that the place is very inviting to spend with friends or family. And today is such a perfect time to brave the long queue of patrons in this side of the mall.

With my Mom, Julia, Tita and Yaya Meann, we spend a very special time with a dear friend, Debbie, who is visiting from Bacolod.

 I liked the Angus Rice, a house specialty, of fried rice with Angus beef. Also the potato skin with the tartar sauce. Tender Bob’s offer a menu that caters to diverse age groups. Dads and Moms can have their steaks or pasta, salads for vegetarians or on diets, Burgers for Ate and Kuya, Chicken Fingers or Fish and Chips for kinds.
