For a long time now, I’ve been trying to look for ways to blog real time specially during lunch when there are great stuff that I’d like to share to all of you.
This is a test post where the photo was taken from a lunch out with my dear friends in Alexandre. This place is a French resto located in Global City near “stopover.” Will post more details in the coming days

WORDCAMP PHILIPPINES 2008
And now, finally, it’s WordCamp! Straight from a night’s full of work, I headed to College of Saint Benilde early Saturday (9/6) to meet my fellow Campers.
I was a bit apprehensive because I am not a type of person who socialize so much. But when I arrived there, my fellow WordPress users in the blogging community were so warm and their joyful dispositions are contagious. Minutes after I arrived, I met Eric (Byahilo) and had breakfast with him, even if it’s the first time we’ve met, and Dante (Dukeward). Further during the day, a number more of people became ‘more familiar’. They were my plurk buddies’ plurk buddy or they were, after all, ‘the person behind the blog’ that I am a fan of.
Putting faces into the names made the world more friendly and small. All of a sudden, they seem to be friends from way back and as if it was not the first time we’ve met each other.
Series of talks were held during the day but it was Matt Mullenweg’s (Mr. WordPress himself) that made the house rock. Of course, topics about WordPress, both future and feature are, without a doubt the main course of the day.
I was in awe. Knowing that in front of me is a guy who can be the next Bill Gates, I can’t help but notice how this young, soft spoken man had changed the word and the world from his talent and dedication by developing a free “state-of-the-art publishing platform” that is WordPress.

My dear dear friends in blogosphere (and troposphere hehe) know it takes a bit of time for me to decide on attending events but with this one, there was no need for much prodding when I saw in Pinoy Life at Large the registration for WordCamp Philippines.
WordCamp Philippines 2008 is the first WordPress premier event in Southeast Asia will be here in the Philippines on September 6, 2008 at the College of St. Benilde , Taft ave., Manila.
Prior to having my own domain, I used to hop from one blog account to another before finding home in WordPress. This has ramped up my blogging life and the rest they say is history.
Having no technical background in any of the content platform languages, I look forward to this event to learn, improve, and develop my skills in using WordPress for more of my life joys.
I’m looking forward to this event, thanks to Mindanao Bloggers and the people who made it possible to bring WordCamp to the Philippines.
